• Goals

To localize our services, we provide children with (suspected) developmental delay in Lieyu Township and their parents the necessary early intervention services and support. Some of the services include sharing of resources, consulting, and learning skills on how to make better use of the resources. By improving family functioning, we can increase family members’ willingness and opportunity to participate in the child’s support system.   

• Service Users

Preschooler with disabilities who resides in Kinmen County, child with (suspected) developmental delays and his/her parents. 

• Description

1. We offer family support services (information and mental health) in areas including medical, education, rehabilitation, welfare subsidy and recreation.

2. According to the child’s needs, we collaborate professionals such as physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, direct support workers and social workers, to participate in the intervention plan

3. We incorporate professionals to help families explore possible learning opportunities for their children.

4. We provide family support through promotional activities and consultation on early intervention.

5. We offer books and teaching devices for on-site reading and take-home loan for professionals and parents.
